Professor at the UFMG-Unimontes Associated Postgraduate Programme in Society, Environment and Territory (PPGSAT) and the Postgraduate Programme in History (PPGH). PhD in Sociology from Goldsmiths - University of London (2016).

Areas of expertise: Abdelmalek Sayad's critical thoughts on migratio and Brazilian migration, with an emphasis on international migration and borders.
